San Ignacio presta mucha atención a los pasos de una actividad a otra, a las transiciones. Es consciente de que no siempre que comenzamos algo, ya sea estudiar, trabajar o rezar, estamos plenamente preparados. Nos tomamos un tiempo en calentar motores hasta funcionar a pleno rendimiento. Por eso recomienda en repetidas ocasiones considerar a dónde voy y a qué (EE.EE. 239) o a dónde voy y delante de quién (EE.EE. 131). Y esta canción es una buena forma de preparar la transición al encuentro con Dios.
Escucha, como si fuera un salmo, estas palabras que Dios te susurra. Una invitación a abandonarte en Él, a tomar consciencia de ante quién te presentas… Aquel que te dice estate quieto y recuerda que estoy contigo, que estoy aquí a pesar de la oscuridad, la niebla o la aparente soledad.
